EVENT DETAILS
The cover charge is a $10 donation which supports the four nonprofits. • $10 cover, 100% pooled and divided equally between the participating nonprofits
• Also available for purchase: food from the grill, beer, wine & signature cocktails with Tito’s vodka
• No outside food/beverage or pets allowed
• Bring camp chair or blanket

The 2023 event sold out so get your tickets ahead of time!
Join Seeds of Learning on August 17th, 2023 at Ross Aragon Community Center, pick out your Pagosa finest dress threads, dust off the bling, and mark your calendar to attend the star-studded event of the summer, the 7th annual Dancing with the Pagosa Stars!
On August 25th local Pagosa Celebrities will slip into their costumes and dance their hearts out, competing to raise critically needed funds for Seeds of Learning.
These generous celebrities are all people that are recognized as leaders in our community. They will partner with professional coaches from Pagosa and Durango to present a dazzling night of dancing and fun. You will be able to buy tickets to support your favorite dancers and vote as many times as you want with each vote costing $1! The celebrity raising the most money from ticket sales and voting will get bragging rights and take home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy at the end of the night!
Proceeds from this event go to Seeds of Learning, where a sliding scale tuition is offered to meet families at their income level. Approximately 80% of the students at Seeds are at a greatly reduced tuition fee and desperately deserve a helping hand in education to succeed in life. Your contributions will allow Seeds to continue offering the high quality affordable programming that our community has come to rely on for the past 25 years.
For the most up to date information on the event visit our website.
Seeds has transformed the lives of more than 1,000 preschool aged children and their families for over 25 years.
We thank you for continuing to support this event!

Tai Chi and mindfulness based meditation are not martial arts, but rather tools for self-healing. Softness, flow and effortlessness are the guiding principles in these practices. For Tai Chi, it will include 19 easy to learn movements and one pose designed to stimulate, circulate and balance the vital energy, or universal life force, referred to as ‘Qi’, which is inherent in all of us. Tai Chi is often thought of as a moving meditation because of the calming effect on the mind and emotions, and the release of tension throughout the body.

Chimney Rock National Monument lies within the San Juan National Forest, between Pagosa Springs and Durango, encompassing 4,726 acres, preserving hundreds of prehistoric sites that dot the landscape around the twin spires. A sacred place that celebrates the life of Ancestral Puebloans over 1000 years ago.
The 2.5 hour guided tour explores local geology and its relationship to the daily lives of the ancestral Puebloans: on the hike to the Chacoan Great House Pueblo. Guests must meet their guide at the Hwy 151 entry gate during check-in. Tickets: $20, ages 13 & up; $10, 5-12. Check-in 7:45-8am. 8-10:30am.
There is also a $20 USFS use fee/vehicle activity pass. Purchase online at Recreation.gov or purchase with cash on-site.
Tour participants will be taken on a journey through geologic time to learn what the rocks present at Chmney Rock today tell us about the geography of southwestern Colorado over time. Participants will also learn how to identify common rocks and fossils in the area.

Support and encouragement for your grief journey, GriefShare is a network of thousands of small sup- port groups meeting around the world and providing a safe place for those experiencing grief from the death of a loved one.
The program is nondenomi- national and features biblical concepts addressing healing from your grief.
Three key elements provide the help you need in the healing process. They consist of a video segment on grief-related topics, a small discussion and a personal workbook.
GriefShare is a 13-week session meeting weekly. You will be met by a warm, caring team who under- stands what you are experiencing because they have been in the same place. You may start at any time. Regardless of how long it has been since your loved one passed, the grief process is vital to healing. Sessions will be held April 1 to June 24. Meetings are held on Saturday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m at Centerpoint Church with Pastor Jon Duncan, 2750 Cornerstone Drive, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. For more information, contact the church at (970) 731- 2205 or Marie Rascoe at (970) 946-9379 (leave a message). There is no charge.
