The Scene:
	A Tisket a Tasket, A Seeds of Learning Basket
	Seeds of Learning is a non-profit preschool center that provides early childhood education for the children of Archuleta County. They will hold their annual fundraiser with the theme “A Tisket, A Tasket, A Seeds of Learning Basket” on Saturday, May 17th. Doors will open at 5:30 for appetizers and a sit down dinner in an elegant picnic atmosphere. Creative "baskets" of various values will be auctioned. Reserved seating ($50/ticket) and table sponsorships ($600/table) will be available. For more information and to get a ticket to this event, call 946-7545.

	The Builder's Association of Pagosa Springs will be holding its 9th Annual Home & Garden Show on Saturday, May 17th from 9 to 5 and Sunday, May 18th from 10-4. The event features local retailers and service businesses to answer your questions and present their products. Food will be available from Eddie B' Cookin' and Ramon's Mexican Restaurant .Admission is $2 per person, children under 12 free! For more information call 970-731-3939.

	Beginning in 1987, Music in the Mountains has grown to a three-week festival featuring musicians from around the world and offering orchestral, chamber, conservatory, and Pops concerts. Free performances for children and their families are featured during the Festival. The mission of Music in the Mountains is to provide quality classical music performances for residents of the Four Corners and visitors, with a special focus on introducing classical music to young people. Pagosa Springs concerts will take place at Boot Jack Ranch, as well as several free concerts in town during the weeks of July 1 - August 3. Visit the Chamber or get tickets online.
